Daily Word Hunt is a free browser word search (find-the-word / 划词) puzzle.
Open the site → play today’s puzzle. No account, no app install, no paywall for the daily game.
What you get
- A new puzzle every day — released by calendar day (site timezone).
- Simple controls — drag letter to letter, or tap first then last.
- Word list + short glosses — good for a calm break or light vocabulary practice.
- Print & large print — classroom-friendly and easier reading.
- Past days — revisit earlier puzzles when you want.
What this is not
- Not a fill-in / Wordscapes clone (we don’t ask you to build words from letter racks).
- Not a social network — leaderboards may come later; play works offline-in-browser once loaded.
- Not licensed movie/game IP packs. Themes we publish will use our own or clearly free-to-use word lists.
How daily puzzles work
Puzzles are prepared ahead of time and stored as static files. When the calendar day changes, the home page loads that day’s puzzle. You don’t need a special URL like /play/2026-08-06 — just come to the home page.
Optional archive links exist for sharing a specific day; the main product is always Today.
Privacy & tech (short version)
- Playing is client-side: your device loads a puzzle JSON and runs the grid in the browser.
- We aim for a static-first site (fast, simple, cheap to host). Optional scores/leaderboards would be separate and opt-in later.
